The failure of Black Americans in the 1960’s was facilitated by White Liberals. The Black Panther Party of Self Defense is a glowing example of African people organizing without a clear cut philosophy, vision or understanding of WHO the enemy is.

Black American’s could not even follow the basic principles of the 10 Point Plan and today in 2016, their communities are not controlled by Black Panthers but rather flunkies of the White controlled Democratic Party. You see several cities with Black majorities that have White Mayors ( Detroit, Flint, Jackson, Philadelphia).
While the Obama Administration made sure to put Black teachers in Atlanta in prison, Black mayors in prison, ironically enough White criminals like George Zimmerman, Darren Wilson and the Mayor of Flint have all remain free.
Why isn’t any of the Majority Black Cities in America ruled by the Black Panthers today? Why? Because those Black Panthers who remain alive were absorbed into the Democratic and Republican, White controlled parties. And many White Liberals who pretended to be apart of the struggle merely joined it to get these Blacks back on the plantation. And many have recievied their reward for outsmarting African-Americans.
While, Assata Shakur sits on the FBI most wanted list, Gloria Steinem received a medal of honor for a job well done at destabilizing the Black Panthers. If the Black Panthers were truly revolutionary they would have at least overthrow the Democratic Party in majority Black municipalities. These Whites like Bernie Sanders and Glorida Steinem once they penetrate your organization they go back to serving the government that continues to destroy African people like all “GOOD” White people do.
This arrogant White trash Gloria Steinem is not even that intelligent, that is the sad part. How we allow these people to manipulate us and direct us back into the grips of the White Hegemony USA truly amazes me. African men and women aren’t suppose to be governed, police, taxes or controlled by WHITES. They control and create the policies and blame the communities for the very problems their policies create.
African people are brain dead, brainwashed and completely under the social and political control of a criminal nation, called the White Americans. Whites sit around everyday in America laughing about how they control US, laughing about how easily they dupe and trick us back into being their loyal slaves.
The Black Panthers had no real intention to even work within this system, if they did it would be Black Panthers in congress. Hell, former Klan members died as members of congress (Robert Byrd). African men don’t you have any pride? Any Fight? To allow an inferior to enslave you is a slap in the face of creation. The African was not created to be ruled over or share power with the European.
Gloria Steinem, patriotically accepted the Medal of Freedom. She always supported the enemy the USA Government as well as Bernie Sanders who portrays himself as a man for non violence, yet wants to be commander of the USA Military. Do you not comprehend that these two characters are racist and not only are they racist they went on a crusade to destroy any Black Power that could defend Black life from the attacks today?
You got Black morons who are traitors promoting these two disgusting savages Sanders and Steinem not even realizing that they are White supremacist who worked to destabilize Black political power in America. You should hate these people and call them terrorist if you had a brain. The insanity of Africans in America is truly amazing.

I have never identified with the Black Panther Party. Yet, to avoid the minutia many conversations about them lead to, I will plainly state they were not African Centered.
Nonetheless, African people’s historical story is marred because we have loss the understanding and importance of hierarchy, loyalty, and cultural education (especially manifestos) . This retardation be it due to time, treason, enslavement, or colonization is a developmental process African people across the globe, especially in the USA have been attempting to solve.
Nevertheless, there are two discussions Africans in America have been having with themselves. Can we lead? And how should we lead?
The former has a dual answer – we can lead but only with the assistance of IMAs.
While he second questions has a more odd answer as in we must lead as “left” leaning non-violent pseudo Europeans and be proud of it.
All these approaches and looking at the world are wrong. Another failed way of seeing the problem is to assume that Africans must move to a different locales on the globe (Africa itself) to mobilize African people. This is an excuse to do nothing, especially for African Americans.
We have an ideological deficit.
We have a shortage of loyalty.
We have a shortfall of dedication.
Our numbers must grow as ACBN. But the only way this can be done is if people clearly understand the purpose and aim of the ideology.
With that in mind African people can have power centers anywhere across the globe, but we must have a self actualizing militaristic ideology.
I have met older African people in their 60’s they cease to admit that they are wrong. However, as the old saying goes… People are more influenced by example than by reason.

Rep. Bobby Rush was a Panther. And the mayor of Jackson is African American. But most of the article is pretty much spot on. And the EFF is another African political group that talks hard but are really just militant integrationists. I’ll have some writing on this subject related to that project I mentioned to you a while back. I’ll be in touch about it.

The black woman in the photo is Dorothy Pittman Hughes. She is a feminist and child welfare advocate. According to Wikipedia she has been honored by Oprah Winfrey as one of America’s “Great Moms”. Sounds like a mammy award to me. But she didn’t get a medal like Gloria did. On a side note,she is also the aunt of actress Gabourey Sidibe from the film Precious.

I liked some of the ideas by The Black Panthers. But I do agree that they were not African centered. On the surface they seemed like it because they screamed out Black Power a lot. By some of them like Eldridge Cleaver suffered from anti-blackness and white worship. This quote always stood out to me. This is from his book Soul on Ice:
“There is no love left between a black man and a black woman. Take me for instance. I love white women and hate black women. It’s just in me so deep that I don’t even try to get it out of me anymore. I did respect Jackson and Fred Hampton though. But Bobby Rush was a disgrace! How could he campaign for that devil Reagan? That was shameful! And Cleaver was a damn sellout too. Lusting after white whores after all that “black talk” shows he wqs never real. I began to realize why Kwame Toure left these buffoons. All these hippes,asians and swirlers in the group…was insanity! There is a saying from the Bible, ‘Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?’ Clearly the fruits gathered by the Civil Rights movement and the Black Panthers were no good, look at the end results. Somehow according to Europeans and their lackeys, you can cast judgement on the failure of Garvey (sabotage) and mixed race Malcolm X but their is no stone to be cast for the more mainstream groups, that ‘helped’ blacks.
The Black Panthers were an abject failure, with some good coming, the image of a strong black man taking care of business, dealing with drug pushers, gangbangers, pigs as well as helping out the community, and instilling some sort of pride. There were major flaws, with infighting in certain areas, a lack of organization beyond the locality of each BPP group, major infiltration and a strange social liberal-communist leaning which was ultimately destructive. In particular friendship and alliance with the very ‘left wing’ groups which now dominate black politics is a CLEAR sign of treason and failure. The integration with the left wing mainstream was a killer, the fact that hippies of the 60’s and 70’s became neo-cons of the 80’s shows that the Black Panthers were in bed with the devil all along, they failed to get off the socialist-liberal (not even related social ideologies but they are conflated in the West) boat shows they new they were fucking up for a large part. Lust for white women and a belief in the false narrative of ‘black dominant genes’ played part in their death. Black men cooning for white pussy when all examples of such behavior in human history have shown this to be a sure fire way to failure for Africans was not going to stop these fools, they had no serious reservations over chasing Liberal white females who were destroying black educational attainment in an era when black baby mamas weren’t even a major factor. This shows they ultimately were not about Black Power.
They gradually seeking to integrate like the Civil Rights movement before them, they took no serious stance against Blaxtaploitation films, they took no serious stance for black economic empowerment instead they focussed on the Communist side of European Internationalism (as if it was any better), they failed to even properly try to stem the tide of drugs grip on the black community and as people saw in the 80’s the crack dealers and the gangbangers became endemic and eventually emblematic to blackness for negroes of the Gangsta Rap era (something few wan to admit is a sign of failure).

You know, I used to believe it was the fault of black women who joined the feminist movement during the 60s that the “black power movement” failed, but that was when I was younger and ignorant of the more detailed history of what was really happening. Now looking back I can see what they were seeing. I don’t want to make excuses for them but there were A LOT of self-hating, hypocritical, misogynistic Negro males leading that movement. Some of were even known rapists and abusers. The sisters complained regularly about it whenever they could — in letters to various black magazines, newspapers, etc — yet it all fell on deaf ears. This one thing we have to keep in mind as black men. We can’t afford to set a bad example and be hypocritical in our behavior. You can’t talk black and date white or hybrid. You can’t say you’re about biological survival and you’re promoting homosexuality and accepting rapists and pedophiles. We have to have standards and we must abide by those standards.

Who solved it, white men, black men are not looking to solve this but use it as a wedge to drive between them and black women, this is hypocrisy and when you see the male swirlers they think there is a clear line between them and Christelyn Karazin when in reality they are the same boat.
You have to remember 99% of these black men who promote this gender war are straight up self-haters and most times view non-black women and particularly white women beyond reproach, on the one hand they give black women all the blame and the other they try tom minimalize non-black women’s role in their groups mistreatment and disdain for Africans.
These fools have a funny tendency to destroy their own argument, which I use to blow up in their face all the time. They boast of black male patriarchy in the 60’s and before and all of it’s benefits and since the late 70’s the black community has become a failed matriarchy. They blame this on Feminism, I blame this on them, black men are patriarchal leaders led the charge to join hand with Liberals it was called the CIVIL RIGHTS MOVEMENT, after getting special rights which nobody else required (and still don’t) the Liberals took away all them jobs they brought blacks from the South for, but black women following their men during this same time followed the patriarchy (BPP) into trusting female Liberals, who were Feminists and LGBT lovers. Black men fucked up FIRST and this what led to what we see today, they will never admit to it because it would mean we have a job on our hands which they effeminate men are not about to start tackling.

Nonetheless, many of the women complaining were multiracial women since many of the women, especially in high profile positions were multiracial women: Elaine Brown, Kathleen Cleaver, Angela Davis…. but that is neither here or there for the crust of this comment.
We always comeback to who setting the standard for what is an attractive woman for a African / Black man and it is the Ima who has influenced many of Africans in the US to select the Imas bastard offspring as catches.
Yet, this helps us return to the Black Panthers who were an integrationist political movement. Nevertheless, I have not forgotten that the Black Panthers were indeed revolutionary compared to the daily Negro of the time who was scared out of his mind to even appear threatening to the Ima hegemonic structure. So although their platform was severely warped, flawed, and idiotic – some of the BP men and women were brave.
Now as for the supposed misogyny in the group, I cannot understand that argument, and I have seen people use it mainly to pander to women, exclusively.
Black men need to lead the fight and must have the initiative but as the BP movement has shown us, an ill thought ideology and approach is akin to doing nothing or causing harm.

I also want to make clear I wasn’t making excuses for the BW who betrayed Afrikan people by joining the white feminists, but merely highlighting mistakes in regards to including and elevating white and other non Afrikan women in the movement. I’m saying the men then could have easily dealt with whatever problem there were and prevent the rise of black feminism (not having white feminists in your organization is one major way). Instead, their own behavior helped provide a rationale for the black feminist movement’s existence. We (Afrikans in general) romanticize the 1960s as if it there weren’t problems.
